10 Cute and Affordable Boots for Fall & Winter
I personally think a riding boot is a solid staple and a classic wardrobe piece. It's taken me a long time to wear heels consistently (and only then the easy to walk in kind!) and even then, if I know that I'm going to be walking around a LOT, the last thing I want is uncomfortable shoes. These Teva boots are a solid steal and with a 15" calf circumference, will fit girls with bigger calves like me! Runs true to size (TTS).
Splurge: Tory Burch Jolie Riding Boot
I'm a HUGE Vince Camuto fan, mostly because they make such good shoes. You'll see a bunch of VC shoes on this list because, let's face it. I just love them. These are such a cute option, with a thick, clunky heel and an adorable side cutout. They would be perfect with floral dresses and cardigans or with jeans. The closed toe means that your feet won't get cold through winter (even if we don't really have anything like that here in Texas). There's a few different options, too, beige and black are in stock in most sizes. Runs true to size (TTS).
The Vince Camuto love continues with these peep toe booties. I have a very similar pair from last season, but these are equally as great. Thick wedge heel, thick strap and a peep toe are my requirements for a cute, but walkable, heel! This is another pair that is fully stocked in all sizes in both black and brown! I love the side detailing on these shoes and this is a super affordable dupe to the much more expensive Free People version. It also comes in a dusty green color, as well as grey, and I think both of these colors are so versatile for all fall outfits. Not to mention these are perfect mini-heel for jeans or dresses, so they're super easy to walk in! Runs slightly larger.
The detailing on the sides of these booties is one of my favorite things. They give super casual boho vibes, which you all know is completely in line with my style. I've been on the lookout for a pair of tan booties for fall and these are perfect. Runs true to size (TTS).
Lucky is one of my favorite leather brands. I have a leather jacket from them that has totally stood the test of time and is one of my favorite transition into fall pieces. Stands to reason that I love their shoes just as much, because the quality is just awesome. If you're not into the chunky heel, these are a great wedge option. Which, of course, means that they are super easy to walk in! And they come in such a fun funky suede as well as a distressed brown leather. Runs true to size (TTS).
So, the struggle is real for us girls that are short when it comes to Over the Knee (OTK) boots. I have an identical pair of Franco Sarto boots that come just below the knee (my legs are too stumpy to pull off OTK boots, much to my pain) and I've had them since I was a freshman in college. The leather is that good and they're just a really beautiful option when I'm feeling a bit fancy. If you've been thinking about trying the OTK style, this is a good entry into it because these look so sleek on and not so much Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman...which, let's be honest, is the struggle when it comes to OTK boots. Runs true to size (TTS).
There's just something about a perforated suede flat bootie that is just ... so versatile! I love this light tan color with a pair of jeans or a military inspired jacket for fall. I'm having dreams of pumpkin patch and warm vanilla lattes (because I like pumpkin decorations... not pumpkin spice so much!) Runs true to size (TTS).
If you're not into the side cut out of the 1.State booties that I posted above, this pair from Sam Edelman is a good option because you can wear some no-shoe socks and keep your feet warm in the winter. These are the things I think about when I'm looking for shoes. Just looking out for all ya'll! Runs true to size (TTS).
I'm heading to Europe in November and I've heard it rains...a lot. I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of rain boots for the trip, but no way am I going to spend $200 on rain boots. Even great quality ones that will last, so hey! These are on sale at a much more budget friendly price, especially for Hunter boots! If you take good care of Hunters, they will last forever. There's several colors in this specific style, as well as a black pair and shorter versions. Runs true to size (TTS).
