6 Places to Eat & Drink in Breckenridge, CO
Sips & Brews:
Easily our favorite brewery, this spot is well off the beaten, high-traffic path. Located just to the north of Breckenridge, Broken Compass Brewery has a wide variety of beers, including IPAs and sours. We loved this place for its less-than-touristy feel and amazing beer selection. Another bonus? They have board games a plenty to keep you entertained.
If beer isn’t your thing, Breckenridge Distillery, conveniently located right next door to Broken Compass, offers sampling tours of their vodka, gins and bourbons. Their craft cocktail list is unparalleled within Breckenridge. We recommend trying an Oaked & Smoked, brought to you in a wooden cask and opened in front of you. Bonus points for presentation.
Breckenridge Brewery & Pub
If you’re looking for a wide variety of beers just pay the Main Street area, Breckenridge Brewery & Pub makes for a great stop. Our personal favorite was the Vanilla Porter (?). If you’re hungry (or with a group of people), the nachos are a huge (and 100% shareable!) appetizer.
Equal parts quaint coffee shop and breakfast & lunch spot, Cool River is a great option if you’re looking to grab a small sandwich or salad before heading out for the day. Even better, they have a large selection of gluten-free or vegan-friendly baked good options.
Ollie’s Pub & Grub
If you’re looking to watch a sporting event, Ollie’s has the TVs and the drink selection for a perfect time.
Blue Stag saloon
If you’re in the mood for a slightly more upscale dinner, Blue Stag Saloon offers elevated pub food, as well as make-your-own pizzas. Their craft cocktail list and huge beer list isn’t too shabby, either!
