Paleo & Keto Friendly Iced Matcha Latte
Matcha lattes are one of my favorite non-coffee beverages. Seriously, if it’s not coffee in my mug, I love this creamy green tea goodness. I don’t follow a Keto lifestyle, but I know that many of my followers do, so this is the perfect compromise! And, in fact, you don’t have to follow Keto to enjoy the benefits of a tasty iced latte!
Matcha is a superfood, meaning that it contains a wealth of benefits, including: decreasing oxidative stress, reducing inflammation, boosting brain function, reducing cholesterol, and reduces liver enzyme levels.
This matcha latte recipe has the added benefit of having an adaptogen kick from the Keto Matcha powder from Ancient Nutrition. It contains a blend of Ashwagandha, Chaga, and Reishi, which help: reduce stress and anxiety, promote mental clarity and concentration (hallelujah!) and increase energy. It also has added collagen peptides for a small protein boost.
Iced Matcha Latte
8oz of your favorite coconut milk or almost milk
1 scoop of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
1/4 vanilla bean
1.Add 1 scoop Ancient Nutrition Keto Matcha powder into a glass. Slowly add your favorite nut milk or coconut milk to the glass, whisking or stirring gently.
2. Add 1 scoop Vital Proteins Collage Peptides and vanilla bean.
3. Pour over ice. Enjoy!
