Quick & Easy Breakfast Recipes
With so much going on recently, I find that I haven’t had as much time to think out breakfast as I used to have. So, many times, I find myself quickly grabbing whatever bar or snack I can, and rushing out the door. I should know better than this, of course, but sometimes, it’s hard when you’re waking up early and leaving the house before the sun comes up. Sometimes, I struggle with simply making coffee in the morning!
I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite recipes on the blog into one easy to get to breakfast list - as well as some of my favorite recipes from other food bloggers and recipe websites!
The recipe for these Banana Bread Overnight Oats is one of my favorite recipes on the blog! It’s so crazy simple to make and overnight oats are on the top of my list for satisfying breakfasts. This specific recipe uses my Healthy Homemade Granola (you can make a batch in under 30 minutes!) and tops it with a bit of Nuttzo spread. If you haven’t used Nuttzo before, I highly recommend it, but you can use any nut butter spread that you prefer!
Strawberry Vanilla Almond Overnight Oats
Coming in a close second in my favorite breakfasts is this recipe for my Strawberry Vanilla Almond Overnight Oats! It’s another super simple way to incorporate a bit of protein (brought to you by the tasteless Vital Proteins collagen peptides!) into your morning breakfast. As always, you can adjust the toppings, but I love adding fresh cut strawberries to the mix!
Not feeling the overnight oats? That’s okay - smoothies are a quick and easy way to grab something and head out the door. This specific smoothie - my Peanut Butter Cold Brew Smoothie - makes a bit of a caffeine punch from the use of the cold brew ice cubes. And, with the added bonus of peanut butter and Vital Proteins, you get a little extra protein to help hold you over until it’s time for a midmorning snack.
