Welcome to the Sephora spring sale! If you’ve been itching to get your hands on some new makeup, this sale is the perfect time to stock up since these Sephora sales are few and far between and some of these brands are never one sale (hint, hint Drunk Elephant!!) Sephora makes it super easy with their Beauty Insider Event, which officially kicks off on April 26 for those of us that are among the Rouge level.

For those of us who are not, let me explain how wonderful this time of year is! Sephora has a few different levels of membership (and if you aren’t a member, you can sign up here!) depending on how much you spend each year.

Must-Have Splurge $: Urban decay naked Eyeshadow Palettes

Urban Decay Naked EyeShadow Palette

The quintessential palette. Regardless of whether or not you frequently apply makeup, Urban Decay makes some of the best, most universally usable, prettiest palettes I can think of. I just love how warm (or cool!) the palettes are. And, for someone like me who doesn’t use a ton, it pretty much suits all of my needs, in every shade imaginable. I also love how beautiful all of the shades are in each palette and I don’t feel like I end up with a half empty palette at some point. If you’re looking to really up your collection of palettes, Urban Decay has an entire collection of the four Naked palettes so you can complete the look!

Must-Have Gift or Save: Sephora Collection

Sephora’s own personal collection is great for a lot of things. I’m a big fan of their eyeshadows, since you can affordably buy single colors to test out. They also curate large and small palettes as well of blendable colors to give you something new to try.

Must-Have Splurge $: nars & smashbox lip

Consider me a neutral palette kind of girl and that includes lip colors. But, when it comes to the Sephora sale, it’s Nars or Smashbox (although I do love a good MAC!). Both come in a variety of colors that you can experiment with, but one thing that I have found that I love is this Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer by Smashbox. I got it as a sample in a Sephora order and it completely changed my world around. You simply layer it on top of any lipstick or stain and it gives it a completely matte look. Easy way to have two different options with the same color!

Must-Have Splurge $: makeup Brushes & Tools

As you might have remember from my most recent Amazon dupe post “Weekly Amazon Finds,” I linked some Amazon alternatives to Beauty Blenders and also high-end brushes. Even though I’m a big fan of both of these Amazon dupes, if you’ve been on the fence, or eyeing a makeup brush kit for a gift idea, now is the time to do it! There are so many great options, whether you’re looking for a pro-level brush kit, or you simply need a single brush to add in your rotation, now is definitely the time to grab it. Again, makeup brushes and tools have a habit of never going on sale, so I would do it now!

Makeup Roundup:

I feel like there’s too many more things to mention that I love when it comes to everyday basic makeup, so I’m going to link below all of the things that I use on a daily basis! Not to mention, I’m adding in a few things on my wish list!
