Snap Kitchen Keeps Me Fueled All Week
Let's face it. I'm a busy gal. If we're talking the average Monday through Friday, it's highly likely that I left the house before 5am, coffee in hand, and with a backpack full of everything I need for the day. This usually includes at least 1-2 pairs of shoes (swampy Austin weather means I definitely need at least one change), clean workout gear, deodorant, and enough food to prevent me from being an out-of-control hangry monster.
So thank God for Snap Kitchen! I've been eating their meals for years now and they're continuously reinventing the way that they do things. My favorite thing about Snap Kitchen (aside from always fresh and tasty meals) is that they frequently feature so many local companies in their store. It's how I've gotten hooked on so many organic and tasty snacks.
Their newest addition to the lineup is something that is absolutely perfect for me - or truly anyone who doesn't have a lot of time at night to meal prep for the week. They recently launched their meal plans, which allows you to customize your days based on your needs. The meal plans can be planned for 3, 5 or 7 days, with as much or as little food as you need. If you have happy hour plans on Thursday, you can take out that dinner meal! Don't like something that is included in the meal plan? You can substitute it!
It's the absolute perfect system! In the past, I've used various other meal plan services and found that I would, inevitably, get something that I didn't like and that meal would go uneaten and wasted. But the Snap Kitchen meal plan makes it easy to make sure that you not only get the food that you enjoy but in the exact quantity that you need.
If you go to their website, you can choose from a variety of meal plan options, including: High Protein, Low Carb, Whole30 & Paleo. (I always get Paleo.) If you're unsure of which one might be best for you, I would suggest getting the Balanced meal plan. It's a little bit of everything!
You can select your daily calorie requirement and the amount of days per week that you'd like to plan for. The more days you need, the better the bundle price! And don't worry about getting too much food at once - if you choose the 5 or 7-day meal plan, you'll get two separate deliveries (or pickups!) to ensure that your food is as absolutely as fresh as possible.
From there, you can pick exactly how many meals and snacks you need each day. I don't need ANY help with snacking so I find that just 2-3 daily meals is enough for me! You can always customize each day if you see something on the plan that you don't like. You are never limited to just what is on your meal plan either. You can pick from any of the meals that Snap Kitchen offers - no gimmicks here.
Personally, I like to try everything at least once, so I always get excited when I see some new items mixed in with some old favorites. The best part is that even though it is a subscription service, if you ever need to skip a week or cancel all together, there is no penalty! No wasted food or money, ever.
