I am a self-proclaimed lazy girl. The only time my hair is styled is after I get my monthly cut from my hair stylist. Don’t get me wrong–I would love to be one of those girls who always has their hair curled, braided, or strategically styled to be fashionably messy. But, between my super thick hair and my inability to wake up early to put forth effort into my looks, my hair is, well, just...messy.

After realizing how much confidence I had with my freshly styled, post-salon hair, I knew that I needed a solution to dress up my hair without spending hours doing so. That’s how my love for easy-to-use hair accessories began. This is one of the easiest ways that you can style your hair without worrying about fancy tools, heat protectants, and everything else that you might find in the beauty aisles. The best lazy-girl-approved hair accessories can simply be clipped or tied into your hair, making them perfect for styling in a pinch. Not to mention, there are so many benefits of feeling confident from head to toe.

Whether you’re adding an elegant scarf around your bun, pinning your hair back with chic clips, or finishing your look off with a bow, using hair accessories can be a major mood and confidence booster. And best of all, they make playing around with your hair so much fun that you’ll actually want to dedicate time to your mane. We’ve rounded up a few of the best hair accessories that will make your life easier.
